About Evie
Evie Cahalen is a career law enforcement professional with 25+ years of experience. She graduated from The American University with a B.S. in Administration of Justice and holds a Master's Degree in Police Management from Johns Hopkins University. She has served as Director of the Internal Affairs division and Director of the Family Crimes division, as well as District Commander of the Field Services Bureau in her hometown police department.
Evie has served as a consultant for the U.S. State Department since 2012, assisting in anti-terrorism training. She has also taught police management as a contractor for Pennsylvania State University.
Evie made Flathead County her home over 20 years ago, and she currently lives in Marion with her husband, Butch, and their two Jack Russell terriers. Her experience in management and law enforcement makes her the most qualified candidate to serve as Flathead County Sheriff.
